proper noun/la tɾiniˈdad/
La Trinidad (a municipality, the capital of Benguet, Cordillera Administrative Region, Luzon, Philippines)
Named by Commandante Manuel Scheidnagel in April 21, 1874 due to the three adjacent hills surrounding the place, hence a trinidad (“trinity”). A common folk etymology is that it is named after Commandante Don Guillermo de Galvey's supposed wife "Doña Trinidad de Galvey", though this is false.
