apuñuscarse

A regional (Mexican) reflexive verb meaning to crowd or bunch together tightly, often used of people packed into a small space, or of fabric/paper crumpling together — a vivid, informal word for close, disorderly crowding.

• Todos se apuñuscaron para entrar al autobús. — Everyone crowded together to get on the bus.
• La ropa se apuñuscó en el fondo de la maleta. — The clothes got bunched up at the bottom of the suitcase.
• No te apuñusques contra la puerta, hay espacio atrás. — Don't squeeze up against the door, there's room in the back.

Expecting this word outside Mexican Spanish — apiñarse is the more widely understood verb for crowding together; apuñuscarse will sound unfamiliar or even like a mispronunciation elsewhere.
