To autocorrect or self-correct — a phone or app fixing your typing (el teclado se autocorrige constantemente), or a person catching and fixing their own mistake, whether in speech, writing, or behavior.

• El teclado se autocorrige tanto que a veces cambia palabras bien escritas. — The keyboard autocorrects so much that it sometimes changes correctly spelled words.
• El alumno se autocorrigió antes de que el profesor dijera nada. — The student corrected himself before the teacher said anything.
• El sistema se autocorrige cuando detecta un error de cálculo. — The system self-corrects when it detects a calculation error.

Assuming autocorregirse only refers to phone autocorrect — the human sense (catching and fixing your own error) is just as common and predates the tech feature by far.
