Hérault (a department of Occitania, France); Hérault (a river flowing through the departments of Gard and Hérault, in southern France)

Found in Latin as Arauris (or Araura by Strabo), the name of a river. The name is sometimes considered Pre-Celtic although the element Ara- suggests a Celtic root.
